Our annual end of year celebration, Splash Bash, was a hit for all our students and teachers! What a beautiful day, 80’s and sunshine!! How lucky we got after six days straight of rain.
We are all so grateful for this year with each of our dear students and families! It was nice to take time to say “Thank you” to each student for a year filled with hard work, joys and memories for us to treasure.
Thanks to each of you! Have a blessed summer together.
This past Friday, May 11, 2017 our PreK-2nd Grade Extended Day students celebrated with a Luau. From tropical fruits, leis to beach balls and energetic games in our gym space, we all had the opportunity to smile and share the Aloha spirit!

These photos show the PreK and Kindergarten Extended Day students learning, exploring and having fun during center time for the months of April and May.
The trip to the Museum of Life and Science always proves to be a real treat and learning adventure for all our Faculty Extended Day students and teachers. From the many animals, butterflies and insects, to the exploration of water and air sciences the students are challenged mentally and physically. The use of outdoor space at this beautiful site always gives young students a place to move and enjoy community time as well.

One of our favorite places to go with our Faculty Extended Day students is Marbles and the IMAX theatre in downtown Raleigh. These two great facilities allow students active play, community building skills, educational films and much, much more…
Enjoy all of these pictures.

On November 21st, 2016, three days before Thanksgiving, our youngest Ravens alongside their teachers,(Mrs. Peggy Bass and Mrs. Kyundan Choi),spent time preparing for Thanksgiving.
Using a Native American tradition, the students and teachers sat down in a circle and each had a turn to hold and use the “talking stick”. During their turn holding this Native American tool, each student was honored with silence while they had the opportunity to speak about what were grateful for.
Enjoy these moments caught on camera.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
During the months of September and October, our PreK and Kindergarten Extended Day students have enjoyed many crafts, time for friendships to be fostered and much more. This past month, they have learned about different animals on the farm and also had the opportunities to explore through dramatic play and many crafts.
Please enjoy some snapshots of the center, your child’s art and hopefully your child.
