Join me in congratulating, Upper School teacher, Dr. Nelson Nunalee, Ravenscroft’s September Innovator of the Month. Nelson was selected this month for bringing two new courses to the Upper School this year, both Robotics and CAD. These classes will allow our students to do experiential, hand’s on work in ways that will undoubtedly prepare them for their future career paths. Join me in congratulating, Upper School students, Clay Baker, Camilo Corrales, Zach Skubic, Christian Lee, Tiffany Jiang, Mia Russo, and Kendall Jones, who have been named Ravenscroft’s April Innovators of the Month for their participation in District C’s C Squad. C squad is “an innovative real-world learning experience designed to teach high school students how to work together to solve real problems.” This program gives students a unique experience that could not be replicated in a traditional classroom. Join me in congratulating, Middle School teacher, Dr. Michelle Nunalee, who has been named Ravenscroft’s March Innovator of the Month.   Michelle was selected this month for her dedication to teaching two of the most innovative courses offered on our campus, both engineering and Lego robotics. Join me in congratulating, Upper School teacher, Kalista Richardson, who has been named Ravenscroft’s February Innovator of the Month. Kalista was selected this month for her investment in facilitation techniques and student-centered instructional methodologies. Her Geometry classes are project-oriented and learner-focused, and she is comfortable with the sense of organized chaos that comes along with this type of classroom experience.
