Welcome to the Lower School Science Lab blog.
Here you will find occasional musings about science lab activities and experiments that the grade level classes are pursuing. Sometimes I will include ways to continue experimenting at home. Occasionally, I may expound on topics suggested by students.
The header photo above is by Art Howard, who traveled with us as part of an Educator’s of Excellence Institute sponsored by the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. The group traveled along a 100 mile stretch of the Peruvian Amazon in July 2012. This shot, a 180 degree panorama, shows multiple small thunderstorm cells across the river from our location.
