Character Tree Traits in Action
First grade student Noah Keen helped to start my Friday morning on a positive note. I was running a few minutes late to school and rushing to get into the building with my hands full of “stuff.” He was far enough ahead of me that I didn’t even know he noticed me on the sidewalk behind him. When I finally got to the front door, there was Noah waiting patiently for me and holding the door open until I passed through. He didn’t have to wait, but his random act of kindness made a difference for me. Thank you, Noah!
Mrs. Kramer would like to commend fourth graders, Matthew Badger and Graham Mauzy for helping with stacking books and materials neatly after Music Classes. They have volunteered to give extra help two Music classes in a row. Thank you Matthew and Graham for being responsible school citizens.
I would also like to highlight a second grade student who was featured on the second grade blog this week for demonstrating strong leadership and citizenship. Way to go, Matthew!
This week, Matthew Schricker visited second grade classrooms to share with everyone his personal community service project involving pop-top collection for Ronald McDonald House. To view a brief video of his presentation, please click on the link below.
