Pre-K Weekly Updates 12/10-12/14

The Pre-K Classes are sponsoring angels for the holidays!  Friends of The Wake County Guardian Angel Ad Litem program are sponsoring this program and we are participating in this wonderful opportunity to bring joy to someone special.  Look for information from the room parents with the specific details regarding the children and their special wishes. All expressions of kindness should be brought to school by December 10, 2018.  Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of this project!
The Pre-K Winter Celebration Luncheon is on Wednesday 19, 2018 at 12:30pm.  The menu will be pizza, chicken nuggets, fruits, carrots, and desserts.  If you do not want your child to participate in the luncheon, please send a separate lunch with your child and notify your child’s teacher.

SPECIAL AREAS UPDATES

Pre K  students have done a great job in PE this second quarter. They have been working very hard improving their tossing and catching skills. To help with these skills, they have been using objects such as yarn balls and bean bags. Students have also been learning how to collaborate and work with partners. They have done a variety of activities such as tossing through a target, tossing with a partner and memory match with colored objects.  As the weather continues to get cooler, please try to label your child’s coats and sweaters so that we can return them if they are left in PE.
